SET OF SIX PERFECT Vintage Blue Fostoria "FAIRFAX" 7 1/2" Cream Soup Liners!!

Up for sale is a set of six absolutely perfect hard-to-find vintage blue depression glass 7 1/2 inch cream soup liners in the "Fairfax" pattern by Fostoria!  Fostoria started making the Fairfax pattern in 1927, and they used it for several of their most popular etched patterns (June, Versailles and Trojan are a few).  Collectors of the etched patterns often fill in their table settings with unetched pieces.  These plates are very versatile - they're made as underplates for the cream soup bowls, but they're also perfect for salad or dessert items.  All six plates are in extraordinary condition – there are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny with no stains, oxidation or unsightly utensil scratches.  Among all 6 there may be an odd scrape or scuff here or there, but that’s about it!  They stand on polished ground rims.  They’re absolutely guaranteed to be vintage – not reproduction or new glass.  I have other pieces of Fairfax for sale in other auctions, so be sure to take a look!  The Fairfax pattern can be seen photographed either in Gene Florence’s “Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era” or in Coe’s “Elegant Glass – Early, Depression & Beyond”!  The buyer will pay shipping.  Shipping will be combined for the buyer of more than one item whenever practical.  Shipping is normally within 24 hours after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire).
