Bosko Grinning Maori "Artist's Proof" 1/1 atomic orange glaze giant tiki mug

Description

A rare "artist's proof" tiki mug by Bosko in his "Grinning Maori" design. This one is in bright, "atomic" orange (a personal favorite color). This one will definitely bring some color and "pop" to your tiki shelf. A very large design measuring a bit more than 9.5" tall and 3.5" wide at the widest point. Marked "artist's proof" on the bottom. Note in two very small places - one on the back and one the front - the glaze did not "take" during the firing process (see the final two photos). This is normal for Bosko's mugs and, to be honest, you don't really notice given the reflection and glare caused by the shiny glaze. But given how much these things are now worth, I'm trying to be scrupulous in describing them. It's just part of the process in making handmade tiki mugs that these minor glazing imperfections occur (which I think collectors consider add character to the pieces).  Hand stamped on the bottom with Bosko's mark.
